Chicken Biryani A Satisfying Meal

Ingredients:
-1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup Basmati rice
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 2 green chilies, finely chopped
- 3 cloves
- 3 cardamom pods
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt to taste
- Water
How to make chicken biryani
1. Wash the Basmati rice and soak it in water for at least half an hour.
2. Heat the oil in a pan and add onions until they turn golden brown.
3. Add ginger and garlic paste and cook for another minute.
4. Add chicken pieces and cook until they are no longer pink.
5. Add green chilies, cloves, cardamom pods, cinnamon stick, bay leaf and salt to taste.
6. Cook on low heat for ten minutes.
7. In a separate pot, boil three cups of water with salt and add the Basmati rice.
8. Cover and cook for about fifteen minutes or until the rice is fully cooked.
9. Once the rice is ready, mix it with the chicken mixture carefully so as not to break up the grains of rice.
10. Cover again and cook on low heat for five more minutes before serving hot!
The chicken biryani was delicious! The rice was cooked perfectly and the chicken was juicy and full of flavor. The spices were well balanced and the overall dish was very enjoyable. I would definitely order this again.
